OUR TEAM
All our dentists adhere to the rules governing the profession under strict guidance from the General Dental Council(GDC) "Standards for Dental Professionals".
Our team consists of dentists, hygienists, nurses and receptionists. The team is led by Paul Worskett. We place a great emphasis on training, and all the staff receive ongoing professional development to ensure they keep up to date to provide you with the best service.

Dr Paul Worskett
BDS (1983) LDS RCS (1984) DGDP(UK) (1997) MSc (2011)
Paul qualified from London in 1983 and worked in some of the London hospitals in the specialty of oral & maxillo-facial surgery. After gaining experience in general practice, he came to Amblecote in 1988 as Principal and has expanded and developed the Practice ever since.
Paul has extensive experience of Dentistry and has a special interest in cosmetic and implant dentistry. He has completed numerous courses on advanced dentistry over the years and was awarded a Masters degree with distinction from the University of Birmingham in Advanced General Dental Practice.
Paul is married with two sons. |

Dr Neil Partridge
BDS (1998)
Neil qualified from Birmingham Dental Hospital in 1998 and has been working at Amblecote Dental Care ever since.
Neil has been involved in Vocational Training as a Dental Trainer and has trained newly qualified dentists entering general practice. He has a special interest in restorative dentistry and has completed a 12 months course in advanced restorative dentistry.
Neil is married with a daughter and three sons.

Dr Edward Young
BDS (2004)
Edward qualified from Sheffield University in 2004 and joined the Practice upon qualifying.
His special interests lie in conservative aesthetic restorative dentistry and orthodontics. He has completed a 12 month aesthetic restorative course and gained advanced accreditation in Clearstep invisible orthodontics. He has also been mentored in the use of Inman Aligner appliances and Amblecote is one of only a few practices in the West Midlands to offer this type of treatment.
Outside dentistry, Ed enjoys spending time with family and friends and is a keen football player. |

Dr Pharooq Mirza
BDS (2005)
Pharooq qualified from Liverpool in 2005, and after gaining some experience in Dudley, moved to Amblecote in January 2006.
He has an interest in restorative dentistry and orthodontics and has completed a 12 month course in aesthetic restorative dentistry. He is currently studying for a masters degree in orthodontics.
Pharooq is married with a young daughter and outside of dentistry he enjoys travelling and sport. |

Dr Adam Joy
BDS (2008)
Adam qualified from the University of Birmingham in 2008. After undertaking a further years training in Dudley, he moved to Amblecote Dental Care in August 2009.
Adam has special interests in Paediatric Dentistry and Anxiety Management.
Outside of dentistry, he enjoys music and photography.

Therapists

Helen Campbell
RDT RDH (2006)
Helen qualified as a dental nurse in January 2002 and gained valuable experience in general practice before embarking on her dental hygiene and therapy training. Helen qualified as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist at Leeds Dental Institute in December 2006.
Helen provides oral hygiene services which includes educating patients on how to maintain a healthy mouth and prevent gum disease. She also works with children carrying out preventative work such as fissure sealants.
As a therapist, her job involves taking x -rays, the extraction of children’s teeth and providing fillings, all under the direction of the dentists.
Helen is newly married; she enjoys going to the gym, socializing and cinema going.

Liz Harris
EDH (1988)
Liz trained in Cardiff and joined the practice in 1988 when newly qualified. She has been a loyal member of the team ever since and has seen the practice grow and develop from humble beginnings.
Liz has lived in the Stourbridge area all her life and has two teenage daughters. She enjoys eating out, keeping fit at the gym, weekends away (especially walking in the Lake District) and the theatre.

Lisa Dunnaker
EDH (1990)
Lisa qualified from Birmingham in 1990 following an early career as a dental nurse and has worked at Amblecote since qualifying.
Lisa is married with two daughters and enjoys keeping fit and going to the theatre.

Julie Southall
Julie joined us in 2006 after careers in dentistry and management.
Julie’s vital role includes marketing, maintaining the provision of clinical services and patient coordination. Her conscientious and organised approach helps to ensure the practice runs smoothly.
Julie lives in Halesowen with her partner.
