When several teeth are missing, implants can be used to support bridges in order to replace anything from 2 teeth to all the teeth in the jaw.

The same principles apply as for a single tooth implant and once the implants have become securely placed in the bone the bridge can be fixed on top. In this case, 2 implants are used to support a 4-unit bridge (4 teeth).
